Wood substitutes

Wood-like materials made of plastic

Ekoplank

An innovative material made from post-industrial recycled plastic (HDPE/PE/PP/PA/PVC). This plastic is an excellent substitute for wood for those looking for anenvironmentally friendly product. It can be recycled again and receive a new product with a different shape.

The use of Recycled board in urban furniture products allows for durability and long product life. Maintenance-free operation without troublesome and expensive maintenance. In an environment with high biological activity (forest, park, gardens) it is resistant to decay, moisture, decay, microbes, insects (Shores of bodies of water: pools, lakes, rivers and sea.).

The use of recycled plastics, reduces the need for virgin material. By managing plastic waste, we contribute to environmental protection. The material is non-toxic, does not interact chemically with organic matter. During use, it remains neatly intact and color-changeable for years.

The manufacturer stipulates that the material may differ slightly from how it looks in color in photos or renders. Currently in our offer we have a choice of three colors of organic board:

Brown ● Gray ● Teak

The main advantages of the product include:

  • the use of recycled plastic reduces the need for virgin material which significantly contributes to environmental protection
  • durable and long product life
  • resistance to rot, cracks, decay, microbes, insects
  • resistance to atmospheric conditions such as vigor, UV radiation or temperature fluctuations.

High pressure laminate

Plastic laminates in our offer occur as a substitute for wooden elements. The use of HPL requires structural changes to the furniture. Their advantage is extreme resistance to weather conditions. They are less susceptible to sunlight, wind, moisture compared to wood.HPL is a flame retardant material. Thanks to appropriate technology, laminates retain their original appearance longer.

Wood-like HPL board

Duroplastic pressure laminate (HPL) complies with EN 438-6 type EDF. The laminate is highly resistant to aging, thanks to a layer of double-cured acrylic-polyurethane resins. It is a flame retardant material.

HPL boards are mainly used in outdoor furniture. Below is the use of laminate in a carport - smoking room, tables and garden furniture from the Bus series.
