ZANO Smart City

What is ZANO Smart City?

ZANO Smart City is our response to the needs of a changing world. We create street furniture that allows you to, among other things, wirelessly charge your phone, access high-speed internet, and enjoy lighting after dark. This street furniture is powered by clean energy generated by photovoltaic panels, making our solar-powered furniture fully self-sufficient.

At ZANO, we focus on solar-powered solutions because we know exactly how important clean air is for us and our environment.

In the design process, we prioritize appearance, durability, and functionality. We manufacture our furniture from stainless steel, carbon steel, locally sourced wood (pine, spruce, fir), hardwood (sapele, iroko, meranti, tauari), HPL laminates, and tempered glass.

Our Smart Products

Our current lineup includes: Solar Benches from the Photon, Scandik, and Flash lines, as well as the Sunflower and Universe solar stations.

Photon Benches Projects

Below we present the Photon solar bench made of stainless steel and hardwood iroko, finished with teak-colored oil. The bench’s energy source consists of photovoltaic panels protected by a sheet of tempered glass, which also serves as a seat. This model is equipped with a Wi-Fi hotspot, an inductive charger, a panel with three Quick Charge-compatible USB ports for charging mobile devices, and LED lighting that activates at dusk (located underneath the bench).

Flash Bench Installations

The Flash bench with a photovoltaic panel integrated into the backrest. The bench is made of carbon steel, galvanized and powder-coated in RAL 7004. The wood used is domestic spruce, varnished to resemble oak. The bench is equipped with an inductive charger, a panel with three USB ports supporting the Quick Charge standard, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a 230V AC outlet.

Implementation of the Universe Solar Station

The Universe solar station is made of stainless steel and iroko wood with a teak finish. The photovoltaic panel consists of two transparent sheets of tempered glass and monocrystalline cells. At eye level for a seated person is a module containing 6 USB ports, as well as a display showing the station’s current battery charge level. Two induction chargers are available on the seats. Universe also offers access to high-speed internet.

Sunflower Solar Station Project

The Sunflower solar station shown below is made of carbon steel, galvanized and powder-coated in RAL 7024. It consists of canopies housing the photovoltaic panels and a strip of LED lights that turn on automatically at dusk. The station features a table made of vandal-resistant HPL laminate. It is equipped with an inductive charger and a panel with two Quick Charge-compatible USB ports. At ground level, there is a stainless steel footrest.

ALWAYS ON! Module

Always ON! Module An optional backup power supply module for the bench/station. When there is insufficient sunlight, the module automatically switches the power source from the photovoltaic panels to the municipal power grid, ensuring that the bench is ALWAYS operational with all available features!
